Description:

The LD1117 3.3V linear voltage regulator is a low dropout regulator available in a TO-220 package, ideal for converting higher input voltages into a stable 3.3V output. It operates with a minimum input voltage of 4.3V, thanks to its 1V dropout characteristic. This regulator is widely used for powering 3.3V logic devices from a 5V supply.

Capable of delivering up to 950mA continuous and 1300mA peak output current with proper heat sinking, the LD1117 is reliable for both low- and medium-power applications. It includes internal thermal shutdown and current limiting protections, making it robust and safe for various projects.

With excellent line and load regulation, the LD1117 ensures that your sensitive electronics receive a clean, consistent voltage. For thermal management, any power dissipation above 2W will require the use of a heatsink.
