The CD4027 is part of the CD4XXX IC series. It is built using monolithic complementary MOS (CMOS) technology, which integrates both p-type and n-type enhancement-mode transistors. Each flip-flop in the IC has independent J, K, set, reset, and clock inputs, as well as buffered Q and Q outputs.
